Kindergarten (full day)
Becky Hankes
I attended Kaneland Schools throughout my youth. I am a proud
graduate of Northern Illinois University, class of May 2007. At
NIU I received my teaching certificate for Elementary Education.
While at NIU I was involved in many organizations including Alpha
Phi Omega, a co-ed service fraternity, Relay For Life, and the
Honors Program.
I have always had a passion to teach kindergarten. Through school
I was able to work in kindergarten classrooms at Kaneland and
Rochelle. I student taught at Sycamore North in kindergarten for
a semester. Since graduating last May, I have been teaching
kindergarten at a DeKalb daycare. I am looking forward to this
new, exciting experience at Holy Cross!
My favorite hobbies are playing tennis and
photography. If I'm
not doing these things in my spare time, I am probably reading,
traveling, or just spending time with friends and family.
Teaching at Holy Cross will be a whole new
experience
for me. I will be able to teach the word of God, along with the daily
academics that I am used to teaching. It is exciting also, that I get
to be a part of this new experience for all of the Holy Cross
community.
I cannot wait to meet everyone and start this new journey at Holy
Cross!
