Director of Operations, Dean of Student Services
Ron Link
Growing up in a large family deeply rooted in this area, Ron Link has been a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church since he was four years old. He fondly recalls this as the only parish he has ever really known.
Ron has shared his sincere love for Holy Cross and considerable talents in many capacities. He served all ten years as Co-Chair of the Barn Sale's Electrical Committee. He participated since its' inception as a principal member of the Steering Committee for the construction of the Holy Cross Community Center. A tremendous support to Monsignor Deutsch and all the members of the building team, Ron has lent his expertise and collaborative style in many ways, drawing from his successful business experience in the manufacturing industry.
However, it is Ron's dedication to education that may be most familiar to families within our parish and beyond. For over the last twenty years, he has been involved in our school district, serving on the Batavia School Board for the last fourteen years. Ron has served as President of the School Board since 2005 and was recently re-elected by the citizens of Batavia to serve another four-year term. He now brings to Holy Cross Catholic School his Faith-filled heart plus the wisdom gained from his work on the Board, overseeing the general operation of the school district, including its' budgeting, hiring, curriculum and policy decisions.
Ron and his wife of 22 years, Bridget, are devoted parents to their three children, two daughters now in college and a son at Batavia High School. A new little dog, as yet unnamed, has recently joined their family and Ron can often be found walking her in their neighborhood. Putting to action their love for God and neighbor, the Link family has led and supported many worthwhile events to benefit others in need over the years.
Ron is thrilled to continue contributing to Holy Cross as our school's new Director of Operations and Dean of Students. With so much growth ahead of us, we are deeply grateful to Ron and blessed to have his joyful energy, his sincere appreciation for our Catholic Mission, his warm and thoughtful concern for the well-being of children and their families and his recognized administrative experience and leadership in the field of education all contributing to the success of Holy Cross Catholic School.
