Megan Steele

My childhood dream was to become a school teacher. My passion carried me through college studies at Northern Illinois University where I earned the Margariete Montague Wheeler Teaching Award for Mathematics.

I began my professional teaching career at Mary, Seat of Wisdom Catholic School in Park Ridge, Illinois. I have spent the last several years at home raising my 4 boys and preparing for the adoption of our little girl. I have remained active volunteering in the schools and at various vacation Bible school programs. I am especially proud to have led dozens of children through Religious Education here at Holy Cross and at St. Margaret Mary Parish in Naperville.

For fun, I love to spend time with my boys, husband, and extended family. I'm one of seven children and always enjoy family gatherings! You will frequently find me enjoying the outdoors or taking kickboxing or cycling classes at the gym. Reading is what I do to relax after my busy days!

I work to follow the path that God intends for me. Part of this plan has been to teach children His ways. I am extremely excited to teach middle school advanced math classes as part of the HCCS family. I look forward to working with others that share in my Christian beliefs. I look forward to meeting you all and to motivate the students to achieve their academic potential.
