Women's Choice Services Banquet

Women's Choice Services was founded in December 2005 to serve the material, emotional and spiritual needs of pregnant moms in our community, focusing on those in untimely or difficult pregnancies. They offer counseling and assistance for these moms, many of whom have nowhere else to turn. Since their founding, they have served over several hundred women, along with Project Gabriel, with this charitable work. Project Gabriel's main office for the state of Illinois and hotline number is at Women's Choice Services to help us in our work to serve these women. To help fund these services, they are holding a banquet on June 26th at the Oakbrook Hills Marriott. One of the major items they are looking to purchase is an ultrasound machine. Women's Choice Services is inviting you to come to the fundraising banquet with Michael Singletary and enjoy the night and/or put an ad in the booklet to help them do their work. Project Gabriel is Here!

Project Gabriel is currently in need of #2 disposable diapers and powder as well as baby formula with iron. Please drop off donations in the box marked “Project Gabriel” located in the narthex coat closet.

Project Gabriel is a church-wide ministry through which the church as a whole helps a woman and her family in a crisis pregnancy through one year after the birth of the child. If you are interested in becoming an “angel” contact the parish office at 630-879-4750 ext 103. Diocesan Pro-Life Mass

Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia, Illinois, will be hosting the monthly Diocesan Pro-Life Mass on Tuesday, June 3rd. The Holy Mass will be celebrated at 7:00PM, the Rosary for Life will follow. Refreshments will be served after the Rosary in Donovan Hall.

Note: We will still have the Healing Service with Confessions at 6:00PM.

Monthly Respect Life Meeting

Join us on the Third Monday of each month at 7:00PM in St. Stephen. All parishioners are welcome to attend.

Monthly Prayer Vigil for an Increase in the Dignity of Life

The Holy Cross Respect Life committee invites all parishioners and friends to join us in the Holy Cross Adoration Chapel for an hour of prayer. This hour represents a new monthly event that will consist of both community prayer and silent reflection.

Monthly Prayer Vigil

A Time to Heal *
for Post-Abortive Women

 “A Time to Heal” is a 12-week Bible-studybased support group bringing the healing of Jesus to post-abortive women. Centered on Holy Scripture, “A Time to Heal” focuses on pivotal women of the Old Testament and Mary, the Mother of God. Participants will discover how some women in the Old Testament made bad choices yet eventually played an important role in carrying out God’s plan.

The program is offered through the Respect Life Office of the Diocese of Rockford. Anyone interested in participating should call 815-877-5433.
