Holy Cross Ministry of Care

Mission: The Holy Cross Ministry of Care's mission is to enrich the lives of people who are elderly, shut-ins, ill, disabled and/or convalescing.  This ministry brings Holy Communion to these people who are unable to worship with us here at Holy Cross Church.  This ministry also visits and prays with these people whether in private homes, residence homes, nursing facilities or hospitals.

Bus service to Mass, etc.:  A new part of this ministry uses the Holy Cross bus to bring people from Heritage Woods, Homstad and Riverrain to Holy Cross Church for Mass, Confession, senior luncheons and other church activities ... even if the people are wheelchair or walker-bound.  The bus is equipped with a lift for these people.  Future plans include bringing others unable to come to church to these events.
