Part Files are here: http://soundcloud.com/ Please join our choir as we prepare to sing at Lessons and Carols and Midnight Mass. Here is a list of the music and rehearsals.
As Monsignor mentioned this weekend, rehearsals are back up and running for all ensembles. It is our goal to increase the membership of our choirs this year, especially the Chancel Choir which already has 3 more members than last year! We would also like to increase the number of students involved in our youth choirs. The Youth Choir is open to all students in grades 3-6. Our Middle School and early High School choir is Cantate Deo and accepts students in grades 7 and up. Finally, our Bell Choir is in need of three new members. A typical bell choir often uses 11 players that play 2-4 bells each – we only had seven members last year. If you like music, but don’t want to sing in a choir, then this is the group for you! Please use the Music Calendar tab above to view our department calendar; additionally, all rehearsal times are in the right sidebar in the “Rehearsals at-a-glance” box. If you have any questions, please feel free to use the “Contact” tab and your message will be delivered directly to Jon McLear, Director of Music. We hope you will join us this year as we praise our Lord through song. God Bless,

We are looking to expand our Chancel Choir, the group that sings at the Sunday 9:45am Mass. We are especially looking to add Altos and Basses, but all voices are welcome! Our current goal is to add 10 new members by Easter. Because we are just beginning our preparations for Lent and Easter, this is the perfect time to join! Simply come to a Thursday rehearsal (7:30pm downstairs in the St. Cecilia room) to join or learn more about this group and the wonderful people that are already involved. If you have any questions, please contact Jon McLear through the Contact tab on our website or by calling the Parish office. Here are some selections that the Schola is currently preparing. Most of these will be sung at the Stations of the Cross on March 25 or on Good Friday (either service). Enjoy! The full playlist is here: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=0F7490571351294B
