Monsignor Brodeski's most recent flocknote on Totus Tuus is here including an order form to order a Totus Tuus t-shirt, sweatshirt or coffee mug!
This is a path in keeping with our Totus Tuus theme ("Totally yours") to help all of us grow closer to Jesus, through Consecration to Mary.
It's called L.O.V.E.
Learn – Especially about our Blessed Mother this year and about our faith. But also about all academic subjects and how God is a part of all we learn. Bringing our faith into all subjects is ideal!
Oratio – Latin for “prayer” - especially morning Mass, adoration each week, households, before class, before/after sports and other extracurricular and throughout the day in our hearts.
Virtue – Especially learning and practicing the virtues of the month.
Enjoy – God wants us to love life and love everything we do. Enjoy each other, make new friends, enjoy school, enjoy home life...we should truly try and enjoy all things which includes having fun throughout the year!
On Wednesday, October 16, 2013, Pastor Aaron Brodeski and our school community celebrated the start of our Marian consecration by praying the 5th Glorious Mystery together (each class had prayed one of the 19 other decades earlier) and with a rosary balloon launch. Using Father Michael Gaitley's book, 33 Days to Morning Glory, a consecration to Jesus through Mary, we will spend the next 33 school days preparing for our consecration on the Marian feast day of the Immaculate Conception, December 9th, 2013. More than 700 Holy Cross parishioners and school families are joining in this Marian Consecration!

Dear school families,
Our school was blessed today (May 7th) with a visit of Bishop Malloy. He celebrated Mass with all the 8th grade classes of the Aurora Deanery and then stopped by to visit and bless the kids in the lunch room, the playground and several of the classrooms. The 1st graders were excited to show him their newly hatched baby chickens and the 2nd graders were excited because he came to bless their 1st Communion articles. I didn't think to take a picture of him with the kids on the playground (I wish I would have because it was quite cute), but I did take some pictures of him with the 1st and 2nd grade. God bless, Msgr.
