Third Friday Lessons

The saint for the day is St. John the Beloved. The session will be lead by Mark and Jan Herwaldt

Following Mass the group will stay in church to hear Fr. Evans talk about his call to the priesthood. (Due to the addition of Father's talk there will not be a craft at this meeting.) The group will then have snack and gather in St. Jude. We will begin with introductions and a name game called I've got mail, to get to know one another. There will be an interactive teaching about the life of St. John. Next the kids will be divided into groups for a scripture search followed by a simulation called The Apostle's Mission. If there is time remaining the kids will make "billboards" depicting a message that St. John wanted to get across through his biblical writings.
