WSHSB Spring Concert and Other Information

The West Suburban Home School Band cordially invites you to their sixth annual Spring Concert.

WHEN: Friday, May 23, 2008, 7-9 P.M.
WHERE: Edman Memorial Chapel, on the campus of Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL. Northeast corner of Washington and Franklin Streets in Wheaton. Parking is in the lot behind the north end of the chapel. This concert is NOT a function of Wheaton College. There is no admission charge for the concert; however, donations will be accepted at the door.  Please visit our website at www.wshsb.com for contact and general band information.

Children's Eucharistic Adoration

Please join us Monday,April 21, at 4:00 p.m. in the Holy Cross chapel for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for children and families.  Join us as the priests of Holy Cross, through silence, prayer and song, lead our children closer to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

Theater Opportunities

Have you ever attended some of the great shows at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora or the Elgin Community College Visual & Performing Arts Center?  We are so lucky to have these two great Theatres so close by.  This year we are taking a different approach.   If you find a show your interested in, you may wish to post it on the Yahoo group.  If 10 or more of you find a date and time you'd all like to attend, then contact Lori Wielgos, at the very least, 1 month prior to the show.  We can get discounts of 5%, 10%, or 15% for larger group purchases.   Some shows sell out very early so get to me as soon as you can.  Take a moment to check out the websites.  They have all the information you need and even some shows you can use as a night out away from your wonderful home and children.  Enjoy!
