Catholic Education and Community Center (CECC)The Catholic Education and Community Center (CECC) will be built for use by the entire parish community. We are blessed that our CECC will include the first Catholic grade school (K-8) to be built in the diocese in over 30 years. The CECC also will offer the much needed expansion of space for use by all of our ministries, while bringing Religious Education (RE) programs back onsite. The CECC volunteer-driven teams (Communications & Development Teams) provide you with an opportunity to have a considerable impact on project processes and successes. We are in need of volunteers with experience in any of the following areas:

Through a multitude of information avenues, the CT cultivates an open and timely exchange of knowledge among the CECC Teams, parish members and Holy Cross Community.
Develop, implement and manage "information outreach" program for parishioners and the Holy Cross community using tools such as...
Maintain communication with all CECC teams to ensure that timely and accurate information is delivered both internally and externally.
Create tools such as a standard CECC project description, logos, templates, request forms, etc. to develop a consistent format of information for use by CECC teams.
Act as an editing and layout resource for CECC teams.
Develop and maintain CECC volunteer database. Utilize information in current parish database to reach out to parishioners who may be interested in volunteer opportunities specific to their talents and expertise.
Create and deliver informal presentations about the CECC for monthly new parishioner welcome gatherings; encourage new parishioners to become active in the project.
Maintain"master file" of all Communication Team documents.
Provide comprehensive updates to Steering Team.
The CT is a unique team in the CECC organization structure because it not only supports the activities of the Steering Team, it provides continuity and cohesion of communication for all CECC teams, just as the ST provides continuity and cohesion for the entire CECC project. Some CT responsibilities may change and evolve as the CECC project continues.
Through a variety of diverse events and activities, the DT increases fellowship opportunities for parishioners, provides a solid financial foundation for ongoing education program needs, and builds a positive relationship between Holy Cross and the community of Batavia.
The DT provides additional financial assistance to current building campaign and a solid foundation for ongoing stewardship of the facility through annual events and ongoing initiatives.
